Who We Are
Building architects, engineers, and changemakers in the South Bronx since 2008 — the founding school of the AECI Charter Schools Network.
"To create a rigorous college-prep academic program that provides students with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience to pursue a path leading to college and/or a career in the architecture, engineering, or construction industries."
Every student can build a future
AECI believes that all of our students have the potential to be successful students and citizens. All staff members work together to ensure that every student's academic, emotional, and social development is supported, cultivated, and challenged throughout their time at AECI.
One school, grades 6–12
Our 6–12 model means students grow up together — with peer tutoring, mentorship from older students, and support every step of the way. Students thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported. That starts on day one.
